December 2016 Monthly Wrap Up

My oh my, how time flies. Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017. 2016 was a decent year for me and I’m praying that 2017 is so much better! I’m praying for some many blessings and success for all of my followers.

So now lets wrap up the final month in 2016!

I had a total of 53 posts, 1426 views (from 390 visitors) from 27 countries in the month of December!

Reviews

I put 7 books on my TBR for the month of December. I sucessfully read and reviewed 5 out of 7 of those books.

I also read 3 extra books that I didn’t originally plan to read.

The books I read and reviewed were:

Blood Moon by John David Bethel was a book I received as a review request from the author himself. You can check out my 4 star review here.

The Gift by Louise Jensen was a Netgalley approval that I was so excited to read and it ended up being an amazing read! You can check out my 5 star review here.

December by Audrey Carlan is the final book in the Calendar Girl series and it provided so much closure. You can check out my 4 star review here.

Safe With Me by K.L. Slater was another book I was approved for on Netgalley and it was such a confusing read in the best way possible. You can check out my 3.5 star review here.

Losing London by Joey Jones is the authors second novel and such an amazing read with all it’s twists and turns. It made my list for Best Books of 2016. You can check out my 5 star review here.

Once She Dreamed Part Two by Abbi Glines is the second and final installment in the OSD series (:(). I’m still praying Abbi will give us a third full length novel for this! You can check out my 4.5 star review here.

While You Were Sleeping by Kathryn Croft was a third book I was approved for on Netgalley and was such an intriguing read! You can check out my 4 star review here.

Winter Kisses by Addison Moore is the 2nd book in the 3:AM Kisses series and I loved Laney and Ryder’s story just as much as Baya and Bryson’s! You can check out my 4.5 star review here.

Corrupt Me by Jillian Quinn is the book I am participating in a Blog Tour for and a fellow blogger/friend’s first published novel! It was seriously amazing and I cant wait to post my review on my schedule release day (January 17th).

Weekly Memes

In my opinion, my weekly memes were a ton more successful than they have been in the previous months. Which is exciting!🙂 It’s been a little hard to keep up with them this month because I’ve been so busy, but I managed. Plus I really enjoy these posts. My only request is that you tell me if you think they are a little annoying and that I shouldn’t have a post for every single day of the week.

Netgalley

My Netgalley requests were a success this month! But that’s mostly because I only requested books from Bookouture and they seem to love me because they approved all of my requests! I requested 5 books and got approved for all of them. 4 of them were from Bookouture and the last one is the book I’m participating in the Blog Tour for!

In January, I hope to reach out to other publishers and hopefully get approved! I just love Bookouture so much that I know I’ll keep requesting from them!

Review Requests

I had one review request from an author this month. It’s a book that released in 2013, but I’m hoping to get to it this month! It still excites me when I open my email and see that an author wants me to review their book! I don’t think that will ever get old!

Reading Challenges

I actually had a pretty successful month with my reading challenges. Since it’s the last year of the month, I also go to finish them off.

I completed my Goodreads challenge by surpassing my goal of 25 books by reading 35! That was 140% of my goal!

I did not complete my Alphabet Soup Reading Challenge for this year. I ended the year with 14 out of 26 letters, which is pretty decent considering I didn’t start the challenge until August. So I’d say I was still pretty successful!

Followers

Now for my second favorite section of my wrap ups! I ended November with 88 followers. As of the last day of December, I am up to 135 followers and still gaining more! You guys are seriously amazing! The book blogging community is one of the best out there. I am so grateful for each and every one of you and everything that you guys do for my blog. Because of your shares, comments, likes, etc my blog has been extremely successful!<3

I’ve been trying to keep up with everyone’s wrap ups, but please tell me how your month/year went! I love chatting with everyone!
